March 15 Work Day Postponed until March 22nd
With rain coming tomorrow and Saturday and the frost still coming out of the ground, we’re postponing the March workday until next Saturday the 22nd. We will still be taking on a bunch of box elder removal so bring a chainsaw, loppers, etc if you have them and wear appropriate clothing and safety gear. Our meeting site will still be 229 280th St Osceola at 8:55 am.

Standing Cedars acquired a 10 acre property in May 2024. This parcel is surrounded by protected land, and was a key parcel of land for Standing Cedars to protect.

Standing Cedars is Stronghold for Threatened Species
Scientists from the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum visited Standing Cedars Buffalo Skull site
to collect the seeds of one of Wisconsin’s threatened plants, Besseya bullii, commonly known as
kittentails.
