You can help fund the development of a stable Geographic Information System (GIS) platform. With this technology, new maps will be created for all our holdings and the information kiosks at the four trailheads can be rehabilitated and updated, including new trail maps. Standing Cedars’ privately held land provides free public access to over 1500 acres for outdoor recreational activities such as hiking, birding, snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, and hunting by permit. We have protected over 1700 acres, including some of the highest quality natural areas along the St. Croix River. Standings Cedars is an all volunteer nonprofit organization deeply rooted within the community, and is dedicated to safeguarding land in the Lower St. Croix to conserve the natural environment now, and for the future.
