Conserved Lands

Open to the public

There are 4 properties that are open to the public for hiking, birding, snowshoeing, xc skiing, and hunting by permit – Engelwood, Buffalo Skull, Tewksbury, and Brown.

Each of the properties is beautiful and unique, in every season. During the winter months, when there is enough snow, we set a 5km xc ski track starting from the main Engelwood parking lot.  Angie Hong, a nature educator, said that Standing Cedars is one of her favorite places to go exploring.  Enjoy!
